The list is growing. We missed out on Bonnaroo (unfortunately, four days without running water didn’t really fit into our schedule), but lawn seats have been purchased for MGMT, the Eagles, and Phish (it’s like, obligatory, man). We’ve got our eye on Lady Gaga and La Roux. And we’re dreaming about a trip to the UK to see this incredible lineup.
What’s that sound? Concert season.
The sartorial challenges of live music are many: something breathable and comfortable must be worn for a full day of jamming under the hot sun. Comfortable shoes that can withstand a muddy field of revelers are a must. And of course, the purse. Free hands (for doing the robot, for instance) necessitate an over the shoulder style, while hydration and sun protection require something with space.
Take inspiration from this lovely lady at Coachella, whose flowery dress and adorable hat would go perfectly with the Helena de Natalio “Hillary” Satchel. It’s tricked out with six hidden pockets (save room for glowsticks), and a front zip fold-over compartment. The adjustable cross-body strap means you can throw it on, forget about it, and just feel the music. Rock on!
